I Corinthians 12
| Now concerning spiritual
gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. |
| Ye know that ye were
Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols,
even as ye were led. |
| Wherefore I give you to
understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit
of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man
can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy
Ghost. |
| Now there are diversities
of gifts, but the same Spirit. |
| And there are differences
of administrations, but the same Lord. |
| And there are diversities
of operations, but it is the same God which
worketh all in all. |
| But the manifestation of
the Spirit is given to every man to profit
withal. |
| For to one is given by the
Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word
of knowledge by the same Spirit; |
| To another faith by the
same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by
the same Spirit; |
| To another the working of
miracles; to another prophecy; to another
discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds
of tongues; to another the interpretation of
tongues: |
| But all these worketh that
one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every
man severally as he will. |

I Corinthians 12
| And God hath set some in
the church, first apostles, secondarily
prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles,
then gifts of healings, helps, governments,
diversities of tongues. |
| Are all apostles? are all
prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of
miracles? |
| Have all the gifts of
healing? do all speak with tongues? do all
interpret? |
| But covet earnestly the
best gifts: and yet show I unto you a more
excellent way. |

II Corinthians 11
| Would to God ye could bear
with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear
with me. |
| For I am jealous over you
with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to
one husband, that I may present you as a chaste
virgin to Christ. |
| But I fear, lest by any
means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his
subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from
the simplicity that is in Christ. |
| For if he that cometh
preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not
preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which
ye have not received, or another gospel, which
ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with
him. |
| For I suppose I was not a
whit behind the very chiefest apostles. |
| But though I be rude in
speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been
thoroughly made manifest among you in all
things. |
| Have I committed an offence
in abasing myself that ye might be exalted,
because I have preached to you the gospel of God
freely? |
| I robbed other churches,
taking wages of them, to do you service. |
| And when I was present with
you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for
that which was lacking to me the brethren which
came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things
I have kept myself from being burdensome unto
you, and so will I keep myself. |

II Corinthians 11
| As the truth of Christ is
in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in
the regions of Achaia. |
| Wherefore? because I love
you not? God knoweth. |
| But what I do, that I will
do, that I may cut off occasion from them which
desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they
may be found even as we. |
| For such are false
apostles, deceitful workers, transforming
themselves into the apostles of Christ. |
| And no marvel; for Satan
himself is transformed into an angel of light. |
| Therefore it is no great
thing if his ministers also be transformed as
the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall
be according to their works. |
| I say again, Let no man
think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool
receive me, that I may boast myself a little. |
| That which I speak, I speak
it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly,
in this confidence of boasting. |
| Seeing that many glory
after the flesh, I will glory also. |
2 Corinthians 11:10-18 |
Romans 12
| I beseech you therefore,
brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present
your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable
unto God, which is your reasonable service. |
| And be not conformed to
this world: but be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is
that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of
God. |
