Acts 20
| And when they were come to
him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first
day that I came into Asia, after what manner I
have been with you at all seasons, |
| Serving the Lord with all
humility of mind, and with many tears, and
temptations, which befell me by the lying in
wait of the Jews: |
| And how I kept back nothing
that was profitable unto you, but have showed
you, and have taught you publicly, and from
house to house, |
| Testifying both to the
Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward
God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. |
| And now, behold, I go bound
in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the
things that shall befall me there: |
| Save that the Holy Ghost
witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and
afflictions abide me. |
| But none of these things
move me, neither count I my life dear unto
myself, so that I might finish my course with
joy, and the ministry, which I have received of
the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the
grace of God. |
| And now, behold, I know
that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching
the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more. |
| Wherefore I take you to
record this day, that I am pure from the blood
of all men. |
| For I have not shunned to
declare unto you all the counsel of God. |
| Take heed therefore unto
yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which
the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed
the church of God, which he hath purchased with
his own blood. |
| For I know this, that after
my departing shall grievous wolves enter in
among you, not sparing the flock. |
| Also of your own selves
shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to
draw away disciples after them. |
| Therefore watch, and
remember, that by the space of three years I
ceased not to warn every one night and day with
tears. |
| And now, brethren, I
commend you to God, and to the word of his
grace, which is able to build you up, and to
give you an inheritance among all them which are
sanctified. |
| I have coveted no man's
silver, or gold, or apparel. |
| Yea, ye yourselves know,
that these hands have ministered unto my
necessities, and to them that were with me. |
| I have showed you all
things, how that so labouring ye ought to
support the weak, and to remember the words of
the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed
to give than to receive. |
| And when he had thus
spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them
all. |
| And they all wept sore, and
fell on Paul's neck, and kissed him, |
| Sorrowing most of all for
the words which he spake, that they should see
his face no more. And they accompanied him unto
the ship. |

Luke 3
| Which was the son of Enos,
which was the son of Seth, which was the son of
Adam, which was the son of God. |

1 Corinthians 12
| Now concerning spiritual
gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. |
| Ye know that ye were
Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols,
even as ye were led. |
| Wherefore I give you to
understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit
of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man
can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy
Ghost. |
| Now there are diversities
of gifts, but the same Spirit. |
| And there are differences
of administrations, but the same Lord. |
| And there are diversities
of operations, but it is the same God which
worketh all in all. |
| But the manifestation of
the Spirit is given to every man to profit
withal. |
| For to one is given by the
Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word
of knowledge by the same Spirit; |
| To another faith by the
same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by
the same Spirit; |
| To another the working of
miracles; to another prophecy; to another
discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds
of tongues; to another the interpretation of
tongues: |
| But all these worketh that
one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every
man severally as he will. |
| For as the body is one, and
hath many members, and all the members of that
one body, being many, are one body: so also is
Christ. |
| For by one Spirit are we
all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews
or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and
have been all made to drink into one Spirit. |
| For the body is not one
member, but many. |
| If the foot shall say,
Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body;
is it therefore not of the body? |
| And if the ear shall say,
Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body;
is it therefore not of the body? |
| If the whole body were an
eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were
hearing, where were the smelling? |
| But now hath God set the
members every one of them in the body, as it
hath pleased him. |
| And if they were all one
member, where were the body? |
| But now are they many
members, yet but one body. |

1 John 3
| Behold, what manner of love
the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should
be called the sons of God: therefore the world
knoweth us not, because it knew him not. |

Romans 8
| For they that are after the
flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they
that are after the Spirit the things of the
Spirit. |
| For to be carnally minded
is death; but to be spiritually minded is life
and peace. |
| Because the carnal mind is
enmity against God: for it is not subject to the
law of God, neither indeed can be. |
| So then they that are in
the flesh cannot please God. |
| But ye are not in the
flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the
Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have
not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. |
| And if Christ be in you,
the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit
is life because of righteousness. |
| But if the Spirit of him
that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you,
he that raised up Christ from the dead shall
also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit
that dwelleth in you. |
| Therefore, brethren, we are
debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the
flesh. |
| For if ye live after the
flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the
Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye
shall live. |
| For as many as are led by
the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. |
| For ye have not received
the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have
received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry,
Abba, Father. |
| The Spirit itself beareth
witness with our spirit, that we are the
children of God: |
| And if children, then
heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with
Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that
we may be also glorified together. |
| For I reckon that the
sufferings of this present time are not worthy
to be compared with the glory which shall be
revealed in us. |
| For the earnest expectation
of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of
the sons of God. |
