Matthew 25
| Then shall the kingdom of
heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took
their lamps, and went forth to meet the
bridegroom. |
| And five of them were
wise, and five were foolish. |
| They that were foolish
took their lamps, and took no oil with them: |
| But the wise took oil in
their vessels with their lamps. |
| While the bridegroom
tarried, they all slumbered and slept. |
| And at midnight there was
a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye
out to meet him. |
| Then all those virgins
arose, and trimmed their lamps. |
| And the foolish said unto
the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are
gone out. |
| But the wise answered,
saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us
and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and
buy for yourselves. |
| And while they went to
buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were
ready went in with him to the marriage: and the
door was shut. |
| Afterward came also the
other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. |
| But he answered and said,
Verily I say unto you, I know you not. |

1 Thessalonians 5
| But of the times and the
seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write
unto you. |
| For yourselves know
perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as
a thief in the night. |
| For when they shall say,
Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh
upon them, as travail upon a woman with child;
and they shall not escape. |
| But ye, brethren, are not
in darkness, that that day should overtake you
as a thief. |
| Ye are all the children of
light, and the children of the day: we are not
of the night, nor of darkness. |

Revelation 20
| And I saw thrones, and
they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto
them: and I saw the souls of them that were
beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the
word of God, and which had not worshipped the
beast, neither his image, neither had received
his mark upon their foreheads, or in their
hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a
thousand years. |
| But the rest of the dead
lived not again until the thousand years were
finished. This is the first resurrection. |

Daniel 12
| And at that time shall
Michael stand up, the great prince which
standeth for the children of thy people: and
there shall be a time of trouble, such as never
was since there was a nation even to that same
time: and at that time thy people shall be
delivered, every one that shall be found written
in the book. |
| And many of them that
sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some
to everlasting life, and some to shame and
everlasting contempt. |
| And they that be wise
shall shine as the brightness of the firmament;
and they that turn many to righteousness as the
stars for ever and ever. |

Ezekiel 1
| And I looked, and, behold,
a whirlwind came out of the north, a great
cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a
brightness was about it, and out of the midst
thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst
of the fire. |
| Also out of the midst
thereof came the likeness of four living
creatures. And this was their appearance; they
had the likeness of a man. |
| And every one had four
faces, and every one had four wings. |
| And their feet were
straight feet; and the sole of their feet was
like the sole of a calf's foot: and they
sparkled like the colour of burnished brass. |
| And they had the hands of
a man under their wings on their four sides; and
they four had their faces and their wings. |
| Their wings were joined
one to another; they turned not when they went;
they went every one straight forward. |
| As for the likeness of
their faces, they four had the face of a man,
and the face of a lion, on the right side: and
they four had the face of an ox on the left
side; they four also had the face of an eagle. |
